AMAZINGLY UPLIFTED

How a 13-year ABA consulting practice cut software costs by 60% and is building a school on Office Puzzle.

60% Cost Savings Per Seat
64 hours Saved on Client Roster Import

Background

Amazingly Uplifted is an educational consulting agency founded in 2013 by Veronica Crafton, BCBA, serving children with autism across the state of Georgia. And, in fall of 2026, it will grow to add Amazingly Uplifted Academy in Alpharetta, GA: a private K–5 school for students with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Amazingly Uplifted began as a full ABA center, and was streamlined in 2022 to focus exclusively on school-based contracts. The popular software provider Veronica had started out with was costly, and she needed an alternative that would fit her changing agency environment at a more sustainable price point. But, she was stuck in a contract.

Veronica learned about Office Puzzle and took advantage of the free trial to get started. Once her contract was up, she switched to Office Puzzle and saw an immediate savings in cost and time, and her team is thrilled with its clinician-first design and ease of use as compared to the previous platform.

Case Study

THE CUSTOMER

Amazingly Uplifted provides ABA and school-based services to children with autism across Georgia — with a private K–5 academy for students with autism and intellectual disabilities set to open in Alpharetta in fall 2026. After shifting from a full agency to school-based contracts in 2022, the practice needed a more cost-effective and clinically flexible software solution. But, they were locked into an existing contract.

THE PROBLEM

Like many growing ABA practices, Amazingly Uplifted initially relied on a large, well-known ABA software platform. But over time, the friction became undeniable:

  • High per-seat pricing: At approximately $50 per employee per month, peak staffing costs reached $450/month, nearly $5,400 per year on software alone.
  • Contract constraints: Veronica wanted to switch sooner but was locked in until contract expiration to avoid paying for two systems simultaneously.
  • Feature bloat built for large clinics: Designed for strict clinical compliance at scale, the platform forced clinicians to work the software's way, not the clinician's way.
  • Slow onboarding: Importing a client roster took days. Every new staff member required owner-dependent training due to the platform's complexity.
  • Slow support: Ticket-based customer service with week-long wait times left the team without answers when they needed them most.

These weren't minor inconveniences; they were actively limiting the practice's ability to grow, onboard staff efficiently, and deliver streamlined care.

"The savings let me put money back into the business — investing in what students and staff actually need. That's not a small thing for a small business. It's everything."

Veronica Crafton, BCBA & Founder —Amazingly Uplifted & Amazingly Uplifted Academy

THE SOLUTION

When Veronica made the switch to Office Puzzle the difference was immediate.Instead of spending time navigating a complex, expensive system built for traditional clinic settings, her team gained a streamlined platform designed for the realities of school-based ABA.

Significant Cost Savings

The prior platform charged approximately $50 per employee per month. Office Puzzle costs $20 per employee, a 60% per-seat reduction. For a practice where every dollar matters, that savings is reinvested directly into students, staff, and programming.

For a small business owner, that difference is everything. Saving money isn't a perk; it's how a small business survives and grows.

Purpose-Built Simplicity

Where the prior platform added complexity, Office Puzzle strips it away, delivering exactly what school-based ABA practitioners need without the overhead:

  • Scheduling: Staff appointments and session assignments in one place
  • Data collection: IEP behavior goals (3–26 goals per student) with easy target entry and visual progress tracking
  • Documentation: Session notes and supervisor notes
  • Payroll integration: External payroll team pulls hour reports directly from Office Puzzle
  • Report generation: Quick report pulls for school communication
  • Mobile App: Full functionality for RBTs on mobile

"Office Puzzle gave me a platform that's purpose-built for our work, at a price that respects how a small ABA practice actually operates."  -Veronica Crafton, BCBA & Founder

Dramatic Onboarding Efficiency

Importing the same client roster took 8 hours in Office Puzzle, versus days in the prior platform. Staff can navigate the system without owner dependency, and RBTs report being able to use it even before formal training.

Kaitlyn K., an RBT at Amazingly Uplifted, spoke highly of Office Puzzle's interface:

"Office Puzzle is genuinely easy to use. I could navigate it even before having my training. That matters when you're an RBT trying to focus on your client and not your platform."

Same-Day Support

Office Puzzle provides same-day or next-day live customer support, replacing a ticket-based system where issues could go unresolved for a week. Veronica's team isn't left waiting.

WHAT'S NEXT: AMAZINGLY UPLIFTED ACADEMY

In Fall 2026, Amazingly Uplifted Academy (AUA) opens its doors in Alpharetta, GA: a private K–5 school for students with autism spectrum disorder (levels 1–2), built around general education standards, dignity, and presumed competence. AUA will open with up to 15 students.

Office Puzzle will serve as the primary platform for both academic and behavioral data collection at AUA. That longitudinal data will be a key pillar of the school's accreditation pathway.

"I trust the platform with my consulting work today, and I'm trusting it with my school tomorrow."

        — Veronica Crafton, BCBA

RESULTS: MORE VALUE, LESS FRICTION

By switching to Office Puzzle, Amazingly Uplifted achieved:

  • 60% per-seat cost reduction: from $50 to $20 per employee per month

  • 8 hours to import a full client roster (versus days in the prior platform)

  • Faster staff onboarding: RBTs navigate independently, without owner dependency

  • Same-day/next-day live support replacing a week-long ticket queue

  • A platform trusted enough to anchor the accreditation pathway of a new school

For Amazingly Uplifted, the switch wasn't just about saving money; it was about removing friction so Veronica could focus on what matters: her students, her staff, and building a school that brings out the best in every child.
